OUTREACH PROGRAMMES

Coo-ee Drop-in Centre

Coo-ee provides a 'cuppa' and chat among friends who are ready to listen. If you wish for quiet, this too is available. Table games are available and a point of interest each month will focus on a craft, hobby or special display.

A light lunch if required, will be supplied for a small donation.

The group meets every Friday from 11.30am to 2.30pm in the Church except during school holidays.

Emergency Service Care Group

Both ladies and men from the congregation extend short term care to people from within and outside church family. This care is usually in the form of transport, meals, shopping, domestic help, or just friendly company.

Contact the Church Office if you know of a need, or would like to help in this caring aspect of our faith.

Occasional Child Care

Loving care for your little ones while you visit the doctor, dentist or shop, is provided in meeting room 3, at the church. Prior booking is necessary.

Leisure Time

Leisure Time is a day care group that caters for 20 elderly or lonely men and women that meets Mondays where they share craft, exercises, games, sorting stamps, a chat and a home cooked meal in a friendly atmosphere, Volunteers for this rewarding group are always needed (both male and female) to help with driving or staying to help on the day or doing cooking at home. If you would like to join our friendly group of volunteers, contact the church office.

Outreach Project

2007 Call for submissions

Each year the congregation undertakes a Outreach Project, to raise money for and provide education about one or more causes chosen by a congregational meeting. Money is raised from activities organised by individuals and groups within the congregation, coordinated by the Outreach Project Committee. If you have ideas for fund raising or would like to help in planned activities, contact the church office or the Chairperson of Church Council.

Social Justice Network

A group of people of the congregation with special interests in Social Justice. They act to raise awareness on issues of social justice
