Living the Questions

"Living the questions" is a 12 session small study group which seeks to explore beyond the traditions and rote theologies in which so many people and traditions seem to be stuck. It helps church members, seekers and "church alumni" alike in discovering the significance of Christianity in the 21st century and what a meaningful faith can look like in today's world.

Two groups are being formed, one on second and fourth Sunday afternoons, and one on second and fourth Tuesday evenings. enquiries to Beth Hancock. Brochure here.

Book Discussion Group

This group of members of the congregation is affiliated with the Discussion Unit of the Council of Adult Education.

We meet monthly to discuss our chosen book with the help of prepared notes.

Library

Christian books are available from the library [located in the church foyer]. The library is a resource for you to use: please feel free to come and browse and borrow on Sunday mornings between services. You may also borrow books during the week by calling into the Church Office during office hours. We have books for both children and adults on many subjects, eg., bible study, theology, prayer, devotion, personal development, eldership, ideas for small groups and much more. Come and check our catalogues; it may be that we can be of help to your group! Books may be borrowed for one month at a time, with an extension if necessary.

With Love to the World

'With Love To The World' is a book of daily devotions which follows the lectionary used weekly within our formal worship. It is written and published wholly within Australia by members of clergy and lay-persons, giving a wide variety of commentary by Christians all over our country. There is a copy in the church library is you wish to borrow it. Subscription is $8.50 per year covered in three books. Orders may be placed with the church office.

Scripture Union

The Scripture Union daily devotional books can be ordered through the Church Office.

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am. You are always welcome to join us at any time. Perhaps you have a concern you would like to share so that we may pray with you, or you may just wish to thank and praise the Lord. There is a prayer box in the foyer if you wish to leave a prayer point.
